WEALTH EXPANSION FOR ENTREPRENEURS

Starting a business is a whirlwind. Starting your own business in tandem with managing your own life can be a clusterfuck. I wish I had someone by my side to teach me the difference between my personal and business finances, how to form an LLC, and help me figure out what the heck quarterly taxes are!

THAT’S WHY I OFFER THIS SERVICE.

Entrepreneurship should be a celebration, not this daunting thing that makes you quit before you even start.

I teach you how to keep going.

I teach you that your financial potential is possible in every way and that you do not need to compromise your spirit in the process. Abundance is every single human's birthright and we are not meant to be on this journey alone. I’m with you as a mentor to confide in, celebrate your financial wins with, and hold you accountable to honoring where you desire to be.

Happy Man On Sidewalk

It's brave, bold, and a little wild to go off on your own and start your own business. But we love wild.

You are literally creating your own economy and that is a miracle in of itself. There are a lot of opinions on starting a business the right way, from pricing your offerings and managing your finances. Rarely do these opinions take into account your own experience and goals for your holistic financial wellbeing. What I do is create a unique and clear financial path for you AND your business.

Wealth Roadmap

The roadmap to your financial goals and dreams.

This roadmap is a detailed path to your future with clear and actionable steps that will serve as a referenceable document that we utilize together over six months. You will receive financial education that will give you knowledge that lasts a lifetime.

And what’s a road trip without a stellar playlist? I got you covered, because finances should be fun, too.

"Over the last three years Stella has helped me adapt, understand my value and worth, and realize I actually can do it."

When Stella and I started working together, I was just starting my sobriety journey. Over the last three years Stella has helped me adapt, understand my value and worth, and realize I actually can do it. I have learned to advocate for myself better due to our work and now when I see something like a house in the Catskills - I know it is not unattainable and I don't feel overwhelmed that "I will never own property I want." I trust myself more and I know that it is OKAY to want to live in financial abundance. I have multiple savings accounts now and have been able to thrive in my life due to setting goals, planning for them, and building my future.

here's what we're going to do

OUR PROCESS:

My Gold Standard's process has, dare I say, proven to cultivate financial resiliency in our clients lives. Feelings of uncertainty and fear slowly transform into feelings of abundance, optimism, and excitement. By the end of this process you will have the education and confidence to continue building wealth that lasts generations.

step one

Opportunity Call

To start, you will book a 30-minute complimentary call with me. This gives us a chance to get to know one another (think of it like a first date) before we certainly fall in financial love and begin our work together to reach all your money goals. IF by chance we are not a good fit, I have a wonderful group of financial educators in my network that I can refer you to. Either way, it's a win win.

step two

Intake Session

This is your first official session with me where I will be asking questions about numbers such as income, savings, debt, investments but also questions like, “what was your first money memory?” and “how do you want to feel about your money at the end of this quarter?” Because that stuff absolutely matters. This will require some vulnerability on your part, but I assure you that I'll be holding space with you every step of the way.

step three

Wealth Roadmap Session

Now I put together your unique wealth roadmap using the information you shared in the intake session that actualizes all of your money dreams. It will address where you are now, where you want to go, and the "how" in getting there when it comes to your personal and business finances. You will know exactly what you need to do with the action steps I outline in your plan.

step four

Monthly Guidance

This is where a majority of our work together is done. Not everyone that receives a roadmap will implement it. It can be scary at first, and that is why I am here to hold you accountable for the next six months and do so in a way that is encouraging and supportive. You will have access to me via email/text to ask any questions you might have or financial SOS’s where you need emotional support. We will also meet once a month for a wealth session where we catch up live throughout our work together.

step five

Quarterly Reflections

My favorite part of the process. This is where we reflect on your progress together because it is a journey after all. We will also look at the numbers and see how implementing the roadmap showed up in your finances. I love reflections because this is where we hold space for your beliefs around money and rewrite your money story to serve you, one chapter at a time.

On average, my clients see a $10,000 increase in their net worth

On average, my clients see a $10,000 increase in their net worth, more savings, a decrease in liabilities, and an increase in credit score.

BUT, the real difference that they see is within their experience with money, how they interact with money, and how money is no longer a weight but a tool for transformation.

And who am I to help you with this?

I'm Stella Gold.

School never taught me how to be an adult with money. When I did try to seek out financial education and guidance, every single person I met with was a white dude in a grey suit that had no idea how to address my financial life as a first generation queer femme person. The human aspect and emotional weight that money can carry was met with dismissiveness and each meeting I had was incredibly *yawn* dry and boring.

Clients come to me because they want someone who gets it.

Someone who they can relate to. Someone who is trauma-informed, intersectional, non judgmental, and holistic in their approach to money.

They want to work with someone who believes in economic justice. I believe in wealth redistribution and using money as a resource for good. That money is sacred and a tool to a liberated life on an individual and collective level. They want to align their budget with their values and beliefs, and this is the place to do that.

I’m with you for the whole ride.

I don’t just leave you to yourself with a calculator and the wealth roadmap to figure this shit out on your own. I don’t just encourage you to believe, I support you in proving those limiting beliefs and old money stories wrong with new life giving, nourishing, and enriching experiences with your money.

frequently asked questions

  • Financial educator, wealth coach, money teacher…we are all here to educate and inform you on financial literacy so you can make decisions on your financial livelihood with eyes wide open.

Financial Advisors, such as a CFA (Certified Financial Analyst) or CFP (Certified Financial Planners) can manage your investments with a fee and/or sell you additional services that relate to your wealth such as life insurance, banking products, and additional investment services.

I am not here to sell you products or manage your portfolio, and I do not have the desire to do that. My mission is to give you the education in doing it yourself. It is my opinion that you don’t need to have a degree or be some rich investor to make smart, well informed financial decisions. However, I do work with clients who do work with Financial Advisors in addition to coaching.

Some financial coaches/educators have these additional credentials and some do not. My Gold Standard does not. I see this as a personal preference, and it doesn’t make a financial educator less qualified or a financial advisor “better”. It just means we do different things.

  • No. What I can do is give investment and tax education.

Some examples of this include showing you how much you have in your budget to invest, building your window of resilience (otherwise known as your risk tolerance) behind making your own informed investment choices, and basic knowledge around ensuring portfolio diversification.

On the tax side of things, if you are an entrepreneur I teach you how much you need to allocate for quarterly taxes, deductions to be aware of, and equip you with questions to ask your accountant for tax planning purposes.

  • Transformations take time and I don’t like to rush. The journey you are embarking on with me isn’t a fly by night band aid. This is an actual process of getting intentional with money, not just on the books, but within yourself. This does not happen overnight.

This is not a six month commitment to me, this is a six month commitment to you. This is you saying, “I am willing to give myself six months to completely transform my life.”

  • Oooof, I feel you friend. There is nothing more infuriating to me than financial advice that shames and restricts you from living your best, most abundant life. Here is my philosophy:

We will certainly address your spending. There are times where spending behaviors can be impulsive and cause a lot of stress in your life. That’s OKAY! Sometimes, we spend in ways to fill a void and we will hold space and explore that together.

AND, there are other times (in fact, this is what I mostly see) where clients are not spending enough. Yes, you heard that right.

I call my offerings “expansive” for a reason. I want you to use money as a tool to treat and adorn yourself, and ENJOY!

For me, it’s about finding that sweet spot of balance between the two and honoring that there are seasons of spending, saving, investing, and a mix of it all on a multitude of spectrums.

  • I do not offer sliding scale or have scholarships available.

There are a few reasons for this, one being that I have offered them before and have found in my experience and research that there is power and medicine in investing in yourself.

As a business owner who identifies as QTBIPOC and femme, I am also breaking the generational mold over being a martyr and over extending myself when I do not have the capacity to do so. I am running My Gold Standard with the same medicine I am teaching my clients, and if I cannot embody those things in my own business - well, I'd say I wouldn't be a very good financial educator!

That being said, what I do offer is flexibility in monthly payment plans. I do not give discounts to those who can pay in full. It’s the same price whether it be a monthly payment plan or pay in full.
